BSSC’s Aerin England, Provincial Solo Champion!
On June 12/13 BSSC attended the Ontario Trillium Championship Competition at the Magna Centre Pool in Newmarket. In the final event of the competition, BSSC’s Aerin England performed her 12 & under solo and clinched the provincial title. She had an outstanding performance and made her coach, Kara Heald, and the rest of BSSC very proud. In 2008, Aerin was the provincial 10 & under solo champion and has continued with her winning ways! Ashley Bowers also represented BSSC in the 12 & under solo competition finishing 12th.
This event is the provincial championship for 12 & under athletes. BSSC had many athletes participating in various events including Emma Wansbrough and Emma Macartney in the 10 & under duet, Emma and Sarah Fox, and Rachel Hisey and Emily Lerner in the 12 & under duet, and Emma and Sarah Fox, Hayley Waller, Claire Elliot, Emma Wansbrough and Emma Macartney in the 12 & under team competition.

Swim Into Summer with BSSC
The competitive season may be over, but BSSC is busy getting ready for summer camp! This summer BSSC will offer 3 summer camps for various ages and abilities. Our camps offer a fun, challenging and inclusive environment with participants reaching beyond the Halton/Hamilton borders, and visiting consultants who add their expertise in areas like yoga, dance, nutrition, drama and more! We’re excited to be able to offer the following camps this summer:
